Millie Bobby Brown discusses her emotions in relation to the end of Stranger Things. Due to her outstanding portrayal as the super-powered tween Eleven in Stranger Things season 1, Brown became one of the sci-fi show’s breakthrough stars following a spectacular 2016 debut. Since then, the persona has established himself as a pillar of the Hawkins kids group, frequently serving as the main character in succeeding seasons or providing the town’s supernatural threats with a resolution.

Stranger Things season 4 was revealed to be the show’s penultimate season, which means that season 5 will be the last. The season was released in two parts, with the finale airing in July. Since a tragedy devastated Hawkins in the season finale and brought the Upside Down to the protagonists’ hometown, Stranger Things season 5 will have to deal with significant ramifications from season 4. The final season’s episode count, runtimes, and a few other details have already been teased by the writers. They have also confirmed that filming will start in 2023. Brown now discusses how she feels about the series’ conclusion.

Brown spoke about the forthcoming Stranger Things finale while appearing on Good Morning America. The actress hinted that a comeback might be in order by saying that even though the series has played a significant role in her life, it hasn’t yet come to an end. She said, “It’s gonna be hard, of course. It’s like my high school, I grew up on the show. They’re like my school friends. You know, it’s gonna be hard. But I’m never gonna not see them again, and I’m sure Netflix will make it last for as long as it can, and it is just so much a part of my career and so formative, and I’ll always remember my experience with Stranger Things.”

Given Netflix’s interest in expanded worlds, which has led to the extension of multiple series in recent years, Brown’s suggestion that the streaming service may be considering another dive into the Stranger Things universe after season 5 wouldn’t be unexpected. The sci-fi series was also alluded to as a “franchise being born” in 2021 by Ted Sarandos, the head of Netflix, hinting at potential spin-offs, one of which might have Brown’s character as a lead. Brown’s career has been flourishing with the Enola Holmes movie series, but her remarks suggest that she would be interested in playing Eleven again after season 5.
