Red Velvet’s management company, SM Entertainment, stated to Xports News on October 28th that “Red Velvet is getting ready to make a comeback as a full group at the end of November.” Since the March 21st release of the mini-album “The ReVe Festival 2022 – Feel My Rhythm,” Red Velvet hasn’t published a brand-new album in approximately 8 months.

Red Velvet carried on with their own pursuits after the group activities. On August 4, Seulgi launched her first solo album in eight years, “28 Reasons,” while Yeri debuted “Nap Fairy,” a duet she performed with Sam Kim. In addition, Irene appeared on the August episode of the web series “Irene’s Work & Holiday,” while Joy did the same on the September episode of “Somehow, Power Diary” on Kakao TV. Wendy is a DJ on SBS Power FM’s “Wendy’s Young Street,” where she interacts with listeners.

Red Velvet excels at a variety of musical styles, from upbeat songs like “Red Flavor,” “Power Up,” “Umpah Umpah,” “Russian Roulette,” and “Feel My Rhythm” to atmospheric tracks like “Bad Boy,” “Psycho,” and “Pekaboo.” As a result, interest is focused on the types of unique charms that will be offered with a new album that will be issued as a whole after 8 months.

South Korean girl group Red Velvet was created and is overseen by SM Entertainment. Irene, Seulgi, Wendy, and Joy made their official debut on August 1st, 2014, with the track “Happiness.” Following the publication of their debut mini album, Ice Cream Cake, the group expanded by adding a fifth member, Yeri, in March 2015. Red Velvet’s musical output reflects their group name: their largely pop-oriented “red” side occasionally tries out electronic and funk. In contrast, their “velvet” side concentrates on ’90s-inspired R&B with ballad and hip-hop components. The critics have praised them for their hooks and flexibility in the genre.
