Will Ticket to Paradise be available on Netflix?

Ticket to Paradise

When it comes to cinematic releases, romantic comedies are a thing of the past, but Julia Roberts and George Clooney are hoping to bring them back. They both appear in the new film Ticket to Paradise. Will the film be released on Netflix? Yes, although the timing depends on where you reside. The new Universal Pictures rom-com, directed by Ol Parker, is about a divorced couple who band together and fly to Bali to save their daughter from making the same mistake they believe they made 25 years ago. The film received mixed reviews from reviewers and positive reviews from audiences when it was released in theatres. At the time of writing, the film has earned slightly under $100 million at the box office.

Where can I watch Ticket to Paradise on Netflix?

The 2022 schedule will go to Netflix thanks to a deal that was made back in 2021. This is what the deal announcement says: “As part of the deal, Netflix will also licence rights to the whole UFEG animated and live action slate roughly 4 years after release as well as rights to select titles from Universal’s enormous movie collection.”
In 2026, Netflix US will also release the following Universal films: Jurassic World: Dominion, Ambulance, The Northmen, and Nope. In contrast to live-action movies, Netflix has two other agreements with Universal Pictures. Within a year of their theatrical debuts, DreamWorks and Illumination animation films are added to Netflix, and Universal 1440 films are included on the same day as their VOD release.

As part of the pay-1 18-month window, which formerly belonged to HBO, the movie will appear on at least two streaming services before being released on Netflix. After its theatrical run, the film will initially screen at Peacock Premium. It will stay there for four months before moving to Prime Video for an exclusive time before coming back to Peacock.
Based on the addition of The 355 to the Czech Republic, Hungary, Romani, and Slovakia earlier this year, certain central European nations may soon see the film within a few months of its theatrical debuts.

As new Universal films are typically released on Netflix in South Korea a year after their theatrical release, Ticket to Paradise will be available there in 2023. For the majority of Netflix subscribers in nations including Canada, Japan, South Africa, India, and the United Kingdom, new Universal films are usually available about 2.5 years after their theatrical debut. Thus, it won’t be available on Netflix until at least 2024.
