Maanvi Gagroo said the real challenge for her working on the final season of Four More Shots Please wasn’t getting into a “dark room” and thinking about the emotions her characters were going through on the show. The character, Siddhi, lost his father at the end of season two and was seen coming to terms with the affair in season three. Speaking exclusively to Hindustan Times, Maanvi recalled how difficult it was to avoid the spiritual dark space.
In Four More Shots Please, Maanvi plays the role of Siddhi Patel, a rich girl, her stand-up comedian. The show also features Bani J, Kirti Kulhari and Sayani Gupta. When asked about the biggest challenges he faced while working on the new series, Maanvi said, “Siddhi suffers from so many things. It’s a really dark place as an actor. Of course, when you play, you’re in the zone of the character. I do my best to come in. But I did my best not to enter that zone after filming was over.You know, her father’s death and the equation she shares with her friends and her mother. . Even her romantic relationships from the past.
About her character, she said, “Because of Siddhi, she struggles with internal conflicts. She lost her father last season and shook her very foundation. How is she coping now?” and whether friends are supporting her and how that affects their relationship.”
When asked how the equation has changed with her co-stars over the past three seasons, Marnvey said, “A lot of things are now accepted. If you put four creatures in a room, they explore each other.” There may even be friction points, but after a while everything settles down.
