Selena Gomez recently informed her followers that she had to postpone her appearance on Jimmy Fallon’s The Tonight Show due to a positive Covid-19 test. She also warned her followers to check the status of their boosters, as “covid is still out there.”
“I’m not going to be on Fallon tonight,” she wrote with a photo of herself on her couch. She continued by saying, “I ended up getting covid but am resting and feeling ok.” She added, “A friendly reminder covid is still out there. Get updated on your boosters. I was actually scheduled to get mine this week. Love you all.”
The medical update comes just a week after Selena posed alongside Hailey Baldwin, the wife of her ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber, at a gala to show there is no conflict between the two women. Fans were naturally already getting that vibe after Hailey publicly discussed her connection with Selena, claiming that she had “respect” for Selena and that they have spoken since Hailey got married to Justin, whom Selena had dated on and off for years.
Since Selena split up with Justin and Hailey later wed him in 2018, there have been rumours that the two had a strained relationship. Because it was unclear when Hailey and Justin started dating and Selena and Justin ended their relationship, the flames were fanned a lot.
