Jesse Williams, a former Grey’s Anatomy actor, will join the cast of Only Murders in the Building Season 3, according to Deadline. The Hulu series just finished its second season in August, and it appears that Season 3 will already be riddled with mystery.

Williams will take on the role of a documentary maker who has a keen interest in the case that Mabel Mora, Charles Haden-Savage, and Oliver Putman are pursuing for their podcast on specific apartment buildings. Williams’ twelve-year stint on ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy may be what makes him most well-known. Williams portrayed Dr. Jackson Avery in the medical drama series set at a hospital. In addition, he has acted in a number of films, including The Cabin in the Woods, a beloved classic.

For Hulu, Only Murders in the Building has been a huge success. Selena Gomez, Martin Short, and Steve Martin play three very different tenants of the Arconia, a posh apartment building on New York City’s Upper West Side, respectively, in the television series. The trio collaborated in the first season to solve a murder in their building while continuing to record a podcast about their experiences as amateur sleuths.

The trio became murder suspects in the second season of the television show, which debuted this past summer. Several notable special guest stars, including Shirley MacLaine, were present throughout the second season. Added to the cast of the second season of the show were Amy Schumer and Cara Delevingne. The third season, which is slated to start production at the end of this year, has received its first significant casting news with Williams’ announcement.
