She-Hulk: Attorney at Law director, Kat Coiro, talked about the changes in combat techniques between Daredevil and She-Hulk. Charlie Cox plays Daredevil once more in She-Hulk, and spectators’ reactions to his arrival and following character changes were mixed. He first appeared in the first season’s penultimate episode and dominated the entire run. Notably, he now fights in a fashion that more closely resembles the comic books rather than realistic movements and physicality, which is perfectly appropriate for She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.

The plot of She-Hulk centres on Jennifer Walters, the title character, and her experiences as a lawyer with a focus on superhuman cases. With the help of the infamous superpowers that come with being an all-green, 6-foot-7-inch Hulk, she tries to further her profession and get by in life while also utilizing and frequently ignoring these abilities.

In an interview with ScreenRant, Kat Coiro outlined the differences between the fighting methods of Marvel heroes Daredevil and She-Hulk. She went on to say that while Daredevil is adaptable, skilled, and experienced, he still has flaws since he is still a human. While She-Hulk harnesses her superhuman strength in a fairly jocular manner, demonstrating a blithe contempt for it even in her brief training with Bruce, he loves training and improves his skill set despite his mortal weaknesses. Coiro goes on to say that these components are what ignite the chemistry between the pair and provide harmony since they complement one another.

She explained, “Daredevil is so finely tuned. He has been fighting for so long. He is an expert stuntman, as Charlie has done his show for so long. But he is very human, and he doesn’t have superpowers. And when we had this little moment where they jumped out of the building, it was fun. We had Daredevil hold onto She-Hulk’s arm because he’s just a man. And then she has these superhuman powers, but she’s never honed them. The most she’s ever done is her little training montage with Bruce, which she did not take seriously. She’s very much more like, smash the wall, throw some people around. And so it’s fun. I think that chemistry makes them this odd couple who are obviously meant for each other.”

Charlie Cox recognised that including Daredevil in She-Hulk: Attorney of Law would best complement the new MCU series, thus this adaptation has made it possible for viewers to experience the character in a more upbeat mood and relaxed approach. The series also emphasises his inherent flaws as a normal human without superpowers, as shown by the fact that he held onto She-Hulk when they leaped from a building.
