The film laid the groundwork for his DCEU, with Henry reprising his roles in Batman v Superman and his Dawn of Justice (2016) and Justice League (2017). However, after Zack Snyder left the DCEU and Studio Warner Bros., the focus shifted to the franchise’s future, and Henry also quietly left the universe. Fans have been eager for his return, but until recently it seemed unlikely to happen. In September, it was revealed that Henry was returning as Superman after industry insiders claimed that Warner Bros. Discovery’s new management had convinced him. A leaked post-credits scene from Johnson star Black Adam teased Henry’s appearance. But that’s just the tip of the iceberg, according to a new report from The Hollywood Reporter.
