Ryan Reynolds, Walker Scobell, Mark Ruffalo, Jennifer Garner, Catherine Keener, and Zoe Saldaa are among the cast members. The story depicts a future pilot (Reynolds) who travels back in time and meets his younger self (Scobell).

Plot:
Fighter pilot Adam Reed steals a time jet in the dismal year 2050 to save his wife, Laura Shane. He is hurt in the process and crashes in 2022. In 2022, the film changes to 12-year-old Adam, whose father Louis died a year before. He is tormented at school, has three suspensions for fighting, and is estranged from his mother Ellie. He discovers the injured 2050 Adam when alone at home one night. The younger Adam refuses to trust the stranger, but the 2050 Adam accidentally names the younger Adam and his dog Hawking. The younger Adam quickly recognises the stranger in front of him as his future self.
To get inside his jet, Adam utilises the DNA of the younger Adam. Maya Sorian, the dystopian world’s leader, and her assistant Christos assault them both, but Laura Shane, who had faked her death and gone off-grid in a hidden location, saves them both. They realise that Sorian has monopolised the trading market since Louis Reed’s discovery of time travel and subsequent death, and when Laura discovers that she has been often seeing her previous self, Sorian attempts to assassinate Laura and orchestrates her death, leaving her stuck in the past. Sorian tries to murder them again, but Laura manages to divert their attention long enough for the Adams to flee to 2018.
They encounter Louis Reed in 2018 and try to recruit his assistance, but Louis refuses because he is concerned about the effect on the time stream. In the meanwhile, Sorian runs into her previous self, who warns her about Adam. That night in a hotel, the Adams express their similar thoughts about their father. They both headed out the next day to stop time travel. They are ambushed by Sorian’s warriors when they get to Sorian Technologies, but they are surprisingly saved by Louis, who has changed his mind and offers to aid them. As long as Sorian has his algorithm, the main software that contains all the arithmetic and limitations necessary for time travel, destroying the machine does not basically eliminate time travel.
In 2022, the younger Adam lives in a parallel universe where his suspensions never occurred, has let go of his rage, and offers his mother a “echo” embrace. Laura Shane, who has entered the incorrect building at flying school, encounters an older and much happier Adam in the future. Adam offers to walk her to her building, claiming that he has time.
