Shake Shack Inc. (“Shake Shack” or the “Organization”) and licensee Maxim’s Caterers Limited are proceeding with the force in China with an extended partnership to open 10 Shacks in new territories by 2031, remembering areas for Sichuan, Chongqing, Yunnan, Hubei, Shaanxi, Anhui, Henan and Guizhou.

The new agreement builds the organization’s development commitment with Maxim’s Caterers Limited in China to 79 by 2031. There are as of now 16 Shacks open in China, with 2021 new market entries so far in Macau and Shenzhen; Hangzhou will come in the not so distant future.

“We are lowered by the energy our fans have shown us in China and see this expansion to Chengdu and past as a characteristic subsequent stage for Shake Shack,” says Michael Kark, Chief Global Licensing Officer of Shake Shack. “China is extraordinarily speedy, dynamic and remains our quickest developing worldwide market. Maxim’s keeps on increasing current standards in spreading the Shack love across China and we can hardly wait to show our guests what we have available.” Maxim’s has over 60 years of involvement working in the food, beverage and retail sectors including full-service and speedy service restaurants, bread kitchens and caf?s.

“The fast development of Shake Shack in East, North and South China has shown the high trust and backing of our fans in China, and this has laid the preparation for our new agreement to foster further in Southwest China,” says Michael Wu, Chairman and Managing Director of Maxim’s Caterers Limited. “Maxim’s and Shake Shack cling to a well disposed and agreeable relationship and will keep on investigating a more extensive development plan into 2031, bringing Chinese guests Warm Community Gathering Places with premium fixings and edified neighborliness.”
