Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal are all set to wed each other by the end of September. The duo has scheduled to host a private bash in Delhi and Mumbai with their immediate family and friends. Richa and Ali will kick start their marriage festivities in Delhi on September 30 and terminate in Mumbai on October 7. The performers are ultimately getting married after uncertainties owing to the pandemic and the responsibility of shoots. The two were initially set to wed in April 2020.
As per reports, Richa and Ali will be holding four functions for their wedding – sangeet ceremony, wedding, and two bashes on October 2 and October 7 in Delhi and Mumbai respectively. Earlier in a discussion with News18, Richa had spoken, I think Shaadi ho jaegi iss saal. Kar lenge kisi tarah se (We will get wedded this year, will match somehow). We’re very keen to get wedded but just nervous about Covid and want to be accountable. (We) don’t like to be in the news for the bad reasons. Plus, we’ve both reached really, really humming when stuff flared up, and work continued at full pace. So I’m telling you we have to enjoy doing a live presentation job of taking a variety of dates and making this happen this year.
For the unversed, Ali and Richa encountered in 2012 during the shooting of their film Fukrey and fell in attachment. On the job front, Richa has Fukrey 3 and Abhi Toh Party Shuru Hui Hai in her pot. She is also delivering Girls Will Be Girls with Ali. The two will also communicate screen space in Fukrey 3. Ali was earlier seen in the Hollywood movie Death on the Nile. The secret suspense also starred Gal Gadot, Annette Bening, Russell Brand, Dawn French, and Armie Hammer.
