When we search the list of personalities who have excelled in the world of sports, one name that pops up to the front is that of Aman Rathod. This 29-year-old young man has been setting the sports arena on fire, and dual ones at that. He is not only a competitive bodybuilder, but has also done exceptionally well on the field playing cricket. He tasted glory when he initially stepped into the world of cricket in 2014, participating in the Valiant Premier League (VPL). His performance was well appreciated which secured his position as a fine cricketer. The tournament was even broadcasted on DD National Sports Channel, and Aman, being one of the finest performers, took the center stage, gaining wide recognition.
Aman says that apart from playing cricket, he is a bodybuilding enthusiast who has been a part of numerous bodybuilding competitions. In 2021, he bagged the title of Mr. Vadodara, which was followed by a series of advertising and modelling offers and getting chosen as the brand ambassador for Valiant Sports. This Gujarat bred sportsman says that he was always drawn towards physical fitness right since his early days, and with time he toned his physique to such extreme levels that he was fit enough to compete in bodybuilding competitions. Playing cricket was his other passion which he pursued while growing up, eventually ending up being a part of an elite cricket team at Valiant Sports.
He had been a part of the Valiant Sports team from 2011 to 2014, having played the first season, where his popularity took an upswing owing to his outstanding performance. Aman says that though his success looks like it has come easy to him, there were a lot of challenges and tough times he had to face during his journey, which he took on without blinking an eye. To supplement his diet and training regimen, he worked in an optical showroom initially, later shifting to a marketing job which demanded constant travel. However, he stayed focussed and eventually won the Mr. Vadodara title in bodybuilding.
Talking about his further achievements, he has won the Nation’s Icon Award and is looking forward to compete in the Mr. Vadodara 2022 to be held soon.
