Illumination is the official studio for The three super hit and fan-favorite films Despicable Me and Minions.

This time the studio is all set to launch a new label that will not only be confined to kids and family entertainment.

As per Sources, Illumination has employed the former adult animation lead at Netflix, Mike Moon

The new label will create animated films that drive outside the family line.

Moon left his position at Netflix before this summer, about the time that they began dismissals in their animation division.

The interesting part is that Mike is offered the role of “senior creative advisor” for Illumination.

Moonlight’s movies will be allocated under Illumination’s allotment partnership with Universal Pictures.

From the beginning of Illumination back in 2007, the production has created a total of twelve feature movies, fetching a grand total of eight billion dollars at the global box office.

Starting from blockbusters three Despicable Me films, two Minions, two Secret Life of Pets, and two Sing movies in their pocket.

At present Illumination is leading in the Animation industry and become a very familiar name.
