Dupri was not present for this week’s “SmackDown” broadcast, as was previously mentioned. Maxxine, formerly Sofia Cromwell on “NXT 2.0,” filled in for Dupri.
A few weeks ago, Vince McMahon cut Dupri from the Maximum Male Models storyline, and Dupri was aware that last week would be his last appearance alongside Ma.çé and Mn.sôör.
Dupri was abruptly dropped off the schedule, according to a recent report from Fightful Select. It was also mentioned that while Dupri had some misgivings, Ma.çé and Mn.sôör agreed with the angle.
Vince McMahon was on hand to oversee the debut of Maximum Male Models. McMahon has spent a lot of time working with Dupri on how he should appear and sound.
Another source stated that Vince McMahon’s retirement was the best thing that could have happened to Dupri because he still has some fans in WWE who like his work.
The beachwear segment that was due to air next week on “SmackDown” was intended to air yesterday.
Max Dupri, formerly known as LA Knight in “NXT,” did not appear on SmackDown this week.
While his sister Maxxine, aka Sofia Cromwell on “NXT 2.0,” made her debut, the founder of Maximum Male Models was nowhere to be seen.
According to Wade Keller of “PWTorch,” Max has now been replaced. According to Keller, persons close to the scenario reported Max Dupri was rubbing people the wrong way backstage.
While he was affiliated with Maximum Male Models, he did not wrestle a single match and instead functioned in a more administrative capacity on “SmackDown.”
Due to the lack of TV bouts, Dupri performed one dark match in January of this year before an episode of “SmackDown” under the alias LA Knight.
