At the age of 54, Trina McGee is expecting a child.
The ‘Boy Meets World’ actress has said she is expecting another kid and asked fans to pray for her and her partner Marcello Thedford. She already has two children with her ex-husband Courtland Davis and a third from a prior relationship.
The Supremes’ “Baby Love” was playing when she made her announcement on Instagram: “At the tender age of 54, I have found myself pregnant.” Please remember to pray for a safe delivery for us. I’m grateful.
With a post, the actress—best remembered for her role as Angela Moore on ‘Boy Meets World’ from 1997 to 2000—informed her fans that she was about to take a sabbatical from social media.
“I’m going to stop using social media for a while,” she wrote. I appreciate your best wishes and prayers in advance.”
Trina revealed the news when a perceptive fan noticed that she was changing when she posted a picture of herself on vacation in Belize wearing a long skirt and a cropped halter top.
“the bump! heart-eyed emoji” was written by a follower.
All Trina could say was “yup.”
The ‘Classmates’ actress, who met actor, producer, and director Marcello 28 years ago while filming ‘Daylight’ in Rome, has been married to him for 16 years. Previously, she had discussed how she was secretly carrying her third child while filming ‘Boy Meets World’.
“That time I played a teenager but in reality I was 6 months pregnant…(sic)” is what she wrote on Instagram alongside stills from a TV episode.
