Emily Blunt Says Her Parents Are 'Angling' for an Oscar invitation

Emily Blunt, who received her first Academy Award nomination, is scheduled to attend the 2024 Oscars.

However, she would have a particularly memorable night because her father's birthday fell on the same weekend.

In agreement, Blunt remarked, "I'm going to bring John, and I'm hoping my parents, who are sort of angling for it." "That weekend is my dad's birthday," she said.

Blunt is ecstatic about this moment, which she regards as a milestone. She opened up about her emotions, saying, "I'm not sure if I've had enough time to process it. I feel so content right now—calm, even."

The actress from Oppenheimer told People Magazine how she felt about her Oscar nomination, saying, "I feel like I've been lighter than air the last couple of weeks." I'm overjoyed."

Gosling was previously cast in the movie as the lead after finishing Netflix's The Gray Man, and now another A-list action star has joined the cast.

The actress from Devil Wears Prada just received a nomination for a BAFTA for Best Supporting Actress, and Joanna and Oliver Blunt, her parents, came to support and show their love for her.

Blunt is thrilled to bring her parents and husband, John Krasinski, to the 2024 Oscars Award, carrying on the family tradition.

Blunt stated that her girls will be cheering her on from home even though they won't be attending the event. "I think the kids may stay up and watch it," Blunt said.

The actress from Quiet Place is a nominee for Best Supporting Actress in recognition of her performance as Kitty in Oppenheimer. Alongside her, Oppenheimer co-stars Robert Downey Jr. and Cillian Murphy also received nominations.
