Euphoria star Colman Domingo suggests season 3's long delays are actually important

Colman Domingo, who starred in Euphoria, provides an interesting update on the lengthy wait for season 3.

The second season of the show debuted more than two years ago, and although it was formally renewed for a third season, work on the upcoming season has not yet begun.

The program has received great praise from critics for its portrayals of mature issues and for its performances, therefore it is only natural that the lengthy wait has raised many concerns about the show's future and the cause of the season gap.

Domingo discussed the postponement of Euphoria's third season in an interview with GQ.

He said he thought the postponement was a good thing since it showed how much Levinson had changed the season.

Domingo claims that Levison might be debating important "existential" issues that call for cautious planning and careful consideration.

[Sam is] a person who writes and rewrites and writes and rewrites again, because I think he's wrestling with what's important. He's responding immediately to what the ills of the world are. I know that the one thing I can tell you is that he's very much interested in the existential question of who we are right now. Our souls. That's what he wants to figure out with season three.
