True Detective season 5 has been confirmed by HBO

Only a few days after the Night Country finale, HBO reported that True Detective season 5 will feature the return of season 4 showrunner Issa López.

HBO has already confirmed that True Detective season 5 will continue, with Lopez making a comeback.
