Machine Gun Kelly talks about Megan Fox's miscarriage and mental health issues in new song

Machine Gun Kelly's latest song, Don't Let Me Go, which was published on February 21, revealed more about his personal troubles.

He discusses the anguish of losing a child with his fiancée, Megan Fox, in the song.

"How can I live with the fact that my hand wasn't on her stomach when we lost the baby?" the 33-year-old rapper asks in one of his lyrics, which is about his feelings of guilt about not being present for Megan during the miscarriage.

In November 2023, Megan disclosed the loss of their child, calling it a "very difficult" experience.

The song by MGK also discusses his personal challenges with mental health, including suicidal thoughts and issues related to his childhood.

"Lately my thoughts eating me alive / Laid in the bed thinkin' maybe the hate will finally go away if I'm not alive," he admits in a rap about feeling overtaken by bad thoughts.

The rapper considers his tumultuous connection with his deceased father, who he claims was violent and committed suicide in 2020.

He raps, I've got trust issues, growing up no one was there to hear what I thought, my heart was broken like my ribs as a kid when me and my father fought.”

"I've been running from secrets I hid as a kid and I never confronted ’em, I just called Mom, said I forgive her for not being there when I needed one.”
