David Tennant Talks About Returning As Killgrave In The MCU

Regarding his potential comeback to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Netflix's Killgrave from Jessica Jones, David Tennant has spoken out.

In all three of the seasons of her Marvel Netflix series, Krysten Ritter's Jessica Jones faced a formidable foe, and this one was no exception.

As additional Netflix Marvel characters, including Vincent D'Onofrio's Kingpin and Charlie Cox's Daredevil, have been confirmed to return to the MCU, fans have begun to strongly advocate Tennant's return as Killgrave.

CoveredGeekly reports that Tennant expressed his desire to rejoin the MCU as Killgrave while walking the red carpet at the 2024 BAFTAs.

Despite the antagonist's demise in the first Jessica Jones season, Tennant's character kept feeling the influence of Killgrave throughout the whole run of the show.

Future MCU films and television series may feature Tennant's Killgrave via a retcon or the multiverse.

“I’d love to do Kilgrave again, yeah Kilgrave would be great. Yeah, that would be good wouldn’t it?! I mean… he did very much get his neck broken, he was very dead. But never say never in the Marvel Universe.”

It would take at least a few years for Tennant to make a comeback to the MCU in the role of Killgrave.

Daredevil: Born Again is the only official MCU project that actually has a bearing on the character.
