Fans of La La Land had a lot to be grateful for at the BAFTAs event on Sunday. Emma Stone, who received another prize for Poor Things, and Ryan Gosling, the lead actor in La La Land, shared a lovely moment at the 77th British Academy Film Awards.

Ryan clapped and even winked at Emma as she emerged from her seat to come to the stage after being named Best Actress. Emma gave him a smile.

The performers' admirers were pleased to see them in a frame together.

Emma won the category for Yorgos Lanthimos' Poor Things, for which she was nominated. Ryan's role as Ken in Greta Gerwig's Barbie earned him a nomination for Best Supporting Actor.

In the end, Robert Downey Jr. took home the Oppenheimer award.

Emma congratulated her mother as she got her medal. "Because she's the most amazing person I've ever met and she motivates me every day.

Greta is not even nominated, America informs him, and he lets out a long, loud scream.
