Joker: Folie à Deux: Director Todd Phillips celebrated Valentine's Day by releasing new stills featuring his leading duo from the movie 

Todd Phillips, the director of Joker: Folie à Deux, celebrated Valentine's Day by releasing new stills featuring Lady Gaga and Joaquin Phoenix. 

The first image in the post shows us Arthur Fleck incarcerated, while the second image, which features Gaga's Harley Quinn gazing lovingly at the Joker, strikes a very different mood.

To the pleasure of the fans, he revealed a glimpse of the eagerly awaited sequel.Todd Phillips, the director of Joker: Folie à Deux, celebrated Valentine's Day by releasing new stills featuring Lady Gaga and Joaquin Phoenix.  

“Hoping your day is full of love,” wrote Todd, sharing the photos on his Instagram.

Lady Gaga portrays Harley Quinn, Harleen Quinzel, while Joaquin makes a comeback as the title character Joker. In one of the pictures, Gaga is seen tenderly staring into Joaquin's eyes while he gives her a barely noticeable smile in return. 

In another, a comic book-style set serves as the backdrop while he seduces her on a terrace. In Todd's lone color photo, Gaga is dressed in blue, and Joaquin is wearing his signature suit. 

The director released these stills the same day that Gaga dropped photographs of herself recording music, which delighted a lot of her fans. 

“We are so back. LG7. Joker 2,” wrote an excited fan in all caps. “Joker 2 stills and 3 studio pics in 2 hr i-,” wrote another fan. 

"Gaga in the studio, joker 2 reveals, oh little monster era is back from dormancy," declared another, proclaiming that the "Monster era" was back in control.
