Kanye West faces criticism for allegedly using Donna Summer song

Once more, Kanye West is dealing with copyright violations related to his unapproved use of modified samples. This time, it's from a song by the late vocalist Donna Flower.

It has been alleged that Kanye West sampled Donna Summer's 1977 smash song "I Feel Love" for his new song "Good (Don't Die)" off the album Vultures.

The title track from the band "Heartless," "Oh, I'm alive, I'm alive, I'm alive," is said to have the same tune as the song "I Feel Love."

Ye was criticized by the late singer's estate on Saturday, February 10, for using the song even though he had previously been told not to.

The official Instagram post from Flower read, "Kanye West...asked permission to use Donna Summer's song I Feel Love, he was denied...he changed the words, had someone re-sing [sic] it or used AI but it's I Feel Love...copyright infringement!!!"

Warner Chappell Music, Universal Music Group, and Ty Dolla Sign, a collaborator of West, were also mentioned in the account.

The I Wonder singer was accused of utilizing an unauthorized sample of her husband's live rendition by Sharon Osbourne, who was also tagged below.

Even after they denied permission, the rock icon Ozzy Osbourne's wife Sharon made a claim that Kanye used a live rendition of Black Sabbath's War Pigs in Vutures.

Because of West's previous antisemitic remarks, which have caused "untold heartache to many," Ozzy had previously written on X that he declined West's request to use the sample.

This past Saturday, Sharon tweeted, "The Osbourne family has never wanted any association with Kanye West." It seems that Kanye chose the incorrect man to f— with this time because he is an anti-Semitic moron who spews his vitriol out into the public.
