Michael Cimino has finally found his next project after the completion of the hit coming-of-age drama, Love, Victor.The fourth and final season of the Netflix series will feature Cimino in the recurring character of Ethan, according to The Hollywood Reporter. According to reports, Ethan is a skater and Sherman Oaks High’s newest heartthrob. The third season of the show will premiere on August 12; the fourth and final season will air at some point in 2023.
Cimino’s critically lauded performance in the first season of Love, Victor propelled him to stardom in 2020. The actor has roles in shows like Training Day and the slasher film Annabelle Comes Home prior to that series. He recently appeared with Rebel Wilson in the Netflix comedy Senior Year. Additionally, he will provide the voiceover for the upcoming Disney animated film Hamster & Gretel.
The Netflix blockbuster series Never Have I Ever was created by Mindy Kaling. Inspired by Kaling’s own youth, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan plays a young, first-generation Indian American girl trying to survive high school and find her way in the world. According to rumours, Cimino will portray a new student who rapidly develops a crush on everyone.
Along with landing Never Have I Ever, Cimino was also cast in the two-episode B-Loved romantic comedy on HBO Max, which also stars Peyton List from Cobra Kai. A two-part Valentine’s Day special for HBO Max is referred to as B-Loved. Cimino will play Cole, a young man who has recently moved to the area, in the special. He shortly learns that Peyton List’s Bea, from Cobra Kai, haunts his new home. Together, the unlikely duo will “rediscover the significance of both letting go and the meaning of being alive.” To be released on HBO Max in time for Valentine’s Day 2023, B-Loved. Cesar Vitale wrote the writing, and Emily Ting is directing the special.
