In a poignant moment at the Frisco Bowl, Rashad Wisdom found himself sitting up near midfield, and a hand extended towards him—none other than that of Frank Harris. The two childhood friends, both wearing UTSA No. 0 jerseys over their injuries, embarked on a walk together, leaving the field for the last time.

While the exit wasn’t the one they had imagined or deserved, the legacy they had built was undeniable. Despite their physical setbacks, the Roadrunners’ fellow teammates emphasized that what Harris and Wisdom had created would outlast them all.

UTSA coach Jeff Traylor acknowledged the enduring impact of Harris and Wisdom, stating, “There’s a part of them that will never, ever be gone.” Despite the challenges, the Roadrunners clinched a historic 35-17 victory over Marshall in the Frisco Bowl, marking UTSA’s first-ever bowl victory. Harris, with a fracture in his right shoulder, stood on the sideline, while Wisdom had his left arm in a sling, adding an emotional layer to their shared journey.
