Enormous $725 Million Powerball Prize Up for Grabs in the Aftermath of Draw

According to lottery officials, the Powerball drawing held on Monday failed to produce any jackpot winners, resulting in the grand prize skyrocketing to an estimated $725 million. This remarkable figure marks the seventh largest Powerball jackpot in history.

The highly anticipated next drawing is scheduled for Wednesday, offering participants a chance to compete for the massive prize. Powerball has disclosed that the lump-sum cash value before tax is estimated to be $366.2 million.

The winning numbers from Monday’s draw were 2, 24, 34, 53, 58, with the red Powerball number being 13.

While the jackpot remained unclaimed, there were still fortunate individuals who secured winnings. Two tickets sold in California and Iowa successfully matched all five white balls, with the California ticket earning a prize of $1 million and the Iowa ticket winning $2 million by utilizing the Power Play feature.

Furthermore, Powerball confirmed that 28 tickets won $50,000 prizes, while 12 tickets secured $100,000 prizes.

It is noteworthy that the absence of a significant winner extends the streak to 35 consecutive drawings.
